Death Row Security
Before becoming Tupac’s bodyguard, Alexander had spent eleven years in the Marines, and had also trained as a world-class bodybuilder. He was working as a prison security guard when he was given the opportunity to work security for Death Row Records, which was Pac’s label.
Driving Crazy
Shakur requested “Big Frank” become his personal bodyguard after Alexander saved Snoop Dogg from being shot in New York. The two had a lot of fun together. Tupac used to drive like a maniac in an attempt to lose his security, but Frank was usually able to keep up with him.
Smoke All Day
They used to call Tupac “Weed” because he was smoking pot around the clock. As soon as he got up in the morning, the rapper would roll himself a Philly blunt and smoke. Frank describes Pac’s loves as: money, weed, and then women.
Tyson's Punch-Out
Mike Tyson used to hang out with Tupac a lot. The two bonded over being rebellious bad boys. One time Pac brought Tyson on stage during a performance and the former heavyweight champion went crazy like a teenage girl screaming over the rapper.
Fight At Fight
They were at one of Mike Tyson’s fights the night of the shooting. A gang member of the Crips, Orlando Anderson, who had beef with some members of Death Row, was at the fight too. When Tupac saw him, he ran over and knocked the Crip member down with a few punches.
